The centre of the humanitarian and business cooperation with the compatriots abroad — The Moscow Compatriot House (MCH), which has begun operating on March 25, 2004, is intended to play an important role in the process of coordinating the efforts of all interested organizations for supporting the Russian compatriots abroad. The founder of MCH is the Moscow Government. MCH has been created as an organizational and coordinating centre of the work of the Moscow Government, the social, political, business, scientific and other organizations of the city with the Russian compatriots, residing abroad. MCH is the coordinating centre of the contacts and interaction of the Russian diaspora in the capital of the Russian Federation. It concentrates the activities of various structures, social organizations of the city of Moscow, which handle the problems of the Russian compatriots. MCH is the informational and coordinating centre for the questions of the Russian diaspora. The goals of the MCH’s activity, as the centre of the humanitarian and business cooperation with the Russian compatriots abroad, are realized through the development of the following directions of activity:
