Moscow Trade House

Joint Stock Company “Moscow Trade House” was established on December 12, 2006 through reorganization of the State Unitary Foreign Trade Enterprise “Moscow Trade House” and is currently the legal successor of all its liabilities. SUFTE “MTH” was created by the Moscow Government (Mossoviet) in 1990 to perform works, make products and render services for Moscow-based enterprises and organizations as well as to enable the city’s socio-economic contracts and the satisfaction of public needs.

In order to achieve the above-stated goals JSC “MTH” has been performing the following activities:

  • Export-import operations with unlimited range of commodities;
  • Attracting investments into construction, reconstruction and restoration of industrial, cultural and utility objects;
  • Retail and individual wholesale trade;
  • Advertising goods and services to the Russian and foreign consumers;
  • Organizing and carrying out international, foreign, specialized and collective exhibitions of goods and products within the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad;
  • Providing international transportation and rendering services related to transport documents processing and customs clearance;
  • Marketing researches of commodity and foreign exchange markets;
  • New forms or foreign trade activities;
  • Trading on commodity and currency exchanges and establishing enterprises and organizations with foreign participation;
  • Processing of documentations for the Russian specialists going abroad on business trips and visa support for representatives of foreign firms;
  • Consulting, information, representation and other services.

 

From the moment of its formation SUFTE “MTH” has participated in a vast number of city programs such as:

1991 — purchase of food products, consumer goods and medical supplies within barter transactions – USD 14. 0 million;

1992 —implementation of the contract with BAUKEMA HANDEL company to deliver road-building and municipal engineering- DEM 250.0 million;

1993 — purchase of a garbage recycling plant made by HELTER company – DEM 108 million;

1994

  • Purchase of special professional equipment for RMTK “Moscow” – USD 2,7 million;
  • Purchase of infant food and health food to provide diet products for children and school institutions, large families, organizations within the Social Security Committee and medical institutions — USD 14,0 million;
  • Purchase of a set of inventory standard formwork used for the reconstruction of the Christ the Savior Cathedral - DEM 4,0 million;
  • Purchase of building equipment for the reconstruction of the historical center of Moscow – USD 3,0 million;

 

1995

  • Purchase of sound, lighting and special equipment for Moscow theaters and exhibition halls— USD 2,3 million;
  • Organization of production and purchase of components for assembling and maintenance of Faun Variopress heavy-duty sanitation trucks — 26,0 billion of non-denominated rubles;

 

1996

  • Loan formalization and purchase of equipment and services for the construction of “Manezhnaya Ploschad” Trade and Recreation Complex - DEM108 million;
  • Purchase of sound, lighting and special equipment for Moscow theaters and museums — USD 2,2 million;
  • Purchase of equipment and cable power lines for Novo-Centralnaya, Zubovskaya and Taganskaya power substations—DEM 41,0 million;

 

1997

  • Purchase of components for the organization of “Metrocab” taxi car production—USD 2,8 million;
  • Purchase of equipment and cable power lines for Novo-Centralnaya, Zubovskaya and Taganskaya power substations—DEM19,0 million;
  • Purchase of vandal-proof street toilet cabins for developing a chain of public toilets in the city of Moscow – USD 0,8 million;
  • Purchase of special equipment for JSC “Trekhgorny Brewery” — 9 billions of non-denominated rubles;
  • Purchase of equipment for “TV Center”» -USD 20,0 million;
  • Purchase of audio-, video- and lighting equipment, video recording and video editing equipment and an electric organ for the “Novaya Opera” theater — USD 3,2 million;
  • Purchase of leisure-time and playground equipment for Izmaylovsky recreation and entertainment park – USD 1,0 million;
  • Purchase of sound, lighting and special equipment for Moscow theaters and museums — US 1,2 million;

 

1998

  • Purchase of medical equipment for city hospitals— USD 1,4 million;
  • Purchase of sound, lighting and special equipment for Moscow theaters— USD 0,5 million;

 

1999

  • Purchase of equipment for aerial cableways for construction of the Alpine skiing slopes in Moscow— USD 1,1 million;
  • Purchase of sound, lighting and special equipment for Moscow theaters and concert halls— USD 3,1 million;
  • Purchase of equipment for Gossanepidnadzor Center in Moscow— RUR 6,2 million;
  • Purchase of elevators and escalators for the MMDC “Moscow-City” business complex on Taras Shevchenko embankment— USD 3,9 million;

 

2000 — conclusion of the contract and loan formalization for purchasing and assembly organization of communal vehicles with mounted seasonal equipment (watering and washing, salt and sand-spreading, sweeping and snow-removal,) built on domestic underframe ”ZIL” — DEM 24,5 million;

2001

  • Purchase of sound, lighting and special equipment for Moscow theaters, concert halls, art galleries, museums and libraries — USD3.0 million + RUR 63 million;
  • Purchase of a computer tomograph for the city of Severodvinsk — USD1,0 million;
  • Purchases of an imported surgery microscope for the Sklifosovsky Medical Research Institute— DEM 153 thousand;
  • Purchase of equipment for enzyme-immunoassay carried out during causative agents treatment of special danger infections for the Gossanepidnadzor Center of Moscow - USD 32 thousand;
  • Purchasing equipment to control smoothness of auto roads for the Gosstrakhtechnadzor laboratory — RUR 700 thousand;

 

2002

  • Purchase of technological equipment for JSC “TV Center” television company—RUR 700 million;
  • Purchase of a computer tomograph for United Hospital of the City Hall MLSO -USD 1,725 million;
  • Purchase of sound and lighting equipment and musical instruments for JSC “City” – RUR 17,0 million;

 

2003 - 2006 — participation in the construction of the Seaquarium on the Poklonnaya Mountain through proprietary and borrowed funds, which included:

  • Obtaining a parcel of land situated on Brothers Fonchenko street (West Administrative Okrug of the city of Moscow) on terms of permanent rent for design and construction of the Seaquarium complex; formalization of a permanent rent contract for the given parcel of land in the Moscomzem with the following re-execution of the permanent rent contract into the foreign investment enterprise (LLC “Marine Gardens”);
  • Formalization of commissions for geotechnical and engineering-ecological researches with relevant authorities, preparation of the urban planning conclusion and initial permit documentation for building of the Seaquanarium and the technical conditions of connecting the Seaquarium to the external engineering services;
  • Conclusion of an agreement with the foreign investment enterprise (LLC “Marine Gardens”) and the co-investors attracted by it for construction and operation of the Seaquarium;
  • Conclusion of a number of agreements with the Scientific Research and Design Institute of Urban Ecology for elaborating a working draft of disposal site recultivation, designer supervision of the working draft and quality control of recultivating works on the Seaquarium construction site.
  • Conclusion of agreements with the city, expert, design and control supervisory institutions for carrying out expert examination and project documentation approval.

Estimated cost of the project EUR 150-200 million.

In the course of its operations JSC (SUFTE )“MTH” continually took part in tenders held by the Moscow government for purchasing goods and rendering services, and also organized tenders on its own initiative to satisfy the needs of Moscow.
