With a tremendous upgrowth of the present-day world gearing towards further globalization, one simply cannot exist without an ongoing proactive partnership with foreign colleagues. Traditionally, the Government of Moscow pays much attention to developing foreign contacts, and there are more than hundred and fifty parties cooperating with the Russian capital today — such as different cities, regions and entire countries alike. This is the key to Moscow's uncontested leadership among Russian regions when it comes to international commerce and foreign investments in the city economy. In our effort to make the life of Moscovites ever more comfortable and conforming to the international standards, we are carefully studying and adopting the best practices of municipal economy and management in world cities and metropolises in all their diversity, aspiring to maximize the social and living conditions of urban dwellers and create a favourable environment for their work and leisure.
